Rejection Made Them Stronger
Matarazzo opened up about how rejection shaped him as an actor. Missing out on dream roles taught him that not booking a job “rarely has anything to do with your choices” and more about the unpredictable nature of casting. Flash Thompson in the MCU—Where Is He Now?
One of the funniest moments came when Revolori was asked about Flash Thompson’s fate if Doctor Strange hadn’t erased Peter Parker from everyone’s memory in No Way Home. Without missing a beat, he said Flash would still be cashing in on his deal with Peter—“maybe even princess carried,” he added, imagining Flash riding Spider-Man like Yoda in The Empire Strikes Back. Gaten couldn’t stop laughing.
Stranger Things’ Final Season Shaped His Life
For Matarazzo, reflecting on Stranger Things was heartfelt:
“Stranger Things is my favorite thing I’ve ever been a part of in my entire life. It has shaped my career and my life in more ways than it hasn’t. It’s the greatest honor of my life, and I love it very much. I’m so excited for people to see it.”
