And honestly, this movie surprised me.The action and survival elements are exactly what you would expect, but it’s the emotional side of Heart of the Beast that really sticks with you. Brad Pitt brings the intensity, while the relationship between him and his canine companion gives the movie its heart.
Then there’s that ending.Without giving anything away, this is one of the best movie endings I’ve seen in a long time. It’s the kind of ending that makes you sit there for a moment after the credits start rolling and think about everything you just watched.
