You, Me & Tuscany: A Sun-Soaked Rom-Com We Actually Deserve
If you’ve been craving a rom-com that lets you escape, swoon, and yell “GIRL, DO YOU SEE HIM?!” at the screen, You, Me & Tuscany is about to be your new obsession. I watched the global trailer launch with Jacqueline Coley hosting Halle Bailey, Rege-Jean Page, director Kat Coiro, and producer Will Packer—and honestly, the whole thing felt like being invited into a very attractive friend group.
Rom-Com Nostalgia, But Make It Italian
Will Packer said the whole goal was to bring back the classic rom-com vibes—joyful, warm, and totally un-cynical. And Tuscany does so much heavy lifting here. Wine, pasta, sunsets… the cast was basically living the fantasy between takes.
The Chemistry? Instant.
Kat admitted it was Halle and Rege or bust—no backup plan. After seeing even a second of the trailer, you get it. Halle brings this soft, bright charisma to Anna, a chef rediscovering her passion. Rege? He’s out here giving philosophical speeches about why rom-coms matter and why falling in love onscreen with Halle was “easy.” Sir, please.

Food, Heart, and a Little Chaos
Halle got to dive into cooking (with an Italian chef literally whispering “bellissima” at her from behind the monitor). Her character’s chaos is adorable, Rege’s grounded vibe balances it, and together they give you that “oh this is REAL real” energy.

Why You Need to See It in Theaters
The whole team agreed: big laughs, big landscapes, big feelings—this is meant for the big screen. Also, according to Will, Rege’s abs deserve a theatrical release. I’m not arguing.
You, Me & Tuscany looks like pure cinematic serotonin—joyful, swoony, and sun-drenched in all the right ways.
