
Phineas and Ferb Cast Reveal Hilarious Role Swaps and What TikToks Their Characters Would Post
At San Diego Comic-Con, the Phineas and Ferb panel brought the nostalgia and energy fans have loved for years this time with a look ahead at the brand new season with cast members Vincent Martella, Alyson Stoner, Jeff “Swampy” Marsh, Dan Povenmire, and David Errigo Jr.
During our interview, the group shared laughs and memories from recording, teasing a return that promises the same heart and humor that made Phineas and Ferb a global hit. When asked, “Who else would you like to try to voice over in the show?”, the cast had fun with the idea. Another highlight came when the cast was asked what kind of content the Phineas and Ferb characters would post if they had TikTok accounts. Without missing a beat, the group agreed expect a ton of DIY builds, wild inventions, and over the top travel content. Think Ferb filming time lapses of engineering masterpieces, Phineas narrating “How to build a roller coaster before lunch,” documenting trips to outer space or the lost city of Atlantis. Dan Povenmire added that Doofenshmirtz’s feed would definitely include “unhinged villain vlogs” and “failed tutorials.”

Phineas and Ferb first premiered on Disney Channel back in 2007 and quickly became a staple for animated storytelling. Running for four seasons until 2015, it remains one of Disney’s longest running animated series. Over the years, the show gained a reputation for its sharp humor, endless creativity, and, of course, its music featuring more than 450 original songs. One of its wildest achievements The entire series takes place over just one summer vacation, a stretch of time that’s somehow lasted over 16 years in real life. Dr. Doofenshmirtz also became iconic in his own right, thanks to his endless string of bizarrely named inventions all ending in “inator,” a naming convention that has since spawned entire fan databases. With Disney+ reviving the series for a brand new two season run (40 episodes total), the original creators Dan Povenmire and Jeff “Swampy” Marsh are back at the helm to prove that summer really does last forever in Danville.
