On Monday, August 5, 2024, Netflix celebrated the fourth and final season of The Umbrella Academy ahead of its premiere on Thursday, August 8. The event started with introductions by Peter Friedlander, Netflix’s Vice President of Scripted Series, and Steve Blackman, the showrunner. and executive producer.

Guests watched the first episode of season 4, which features all the elements we love and expect from the show, perfectly setting the tone for the final season.

The cast members present at the Los Angeles premiere included Elliot Page, Tom Hopper, David Castañeda, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Robert Sheehan, Aidan Gallagher, Justin H. Min, Ritu Arya, and some legacy cast members such as Cameron Britton (Hazel), Ken Hall (Herb), and Jordan Claire Robbins (Grace). Special guests included Keegan Allen, Adam Fergus, Hayley Erin, and Alexis Knapp.
After the premiere screening, attendees enjoyed a reception featuring passed appetizers, a live violinist, and an on-site tattoo artist offering Umbrella Academy-inspired tattoos. David Castañeda was among those who received a tattoo of the iconic umbrella.

Season 4: New Timelines
After the intense showdown at the Hotel Oblivion, the Hargreeves siblings have scattered, and their timeline has completely reset. Now powerless, they must each navigate their paths and adapt to a new normal, with varying levels of success. However, the strange aspects of their new reality are impossible to ignore for long. Their father, Reginald, is alive and thriving, having emerged from the shadows to lead a powerful and sinister business empire. Meanwhile, a secretive group called The Keepers holds clandestine meetings, convinced that the reality they inhabit is a falsehood and that a major reckoning is imminent. With these new and enigmatic forces at play, the Umbrella Academy must reunite one last time, risking the fragile peace they have struggled to achieve, to finally set things right.
