The event was launched by the one and only “The People’s Champion,” Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson. As the night moved on the broadcasting, surprise appearances were made by John Cena, The Undertaker, Travis Scott, and Hulk Hogan. The partnership between WWE and Netflix ushers in a new era for WWE fans with the highly anticipated debut of live weekly programming airing 52 weeks a year. Netflix will now serve as the exclusive streaming home for WWE’s flagship weekly wrestling show. For the first time in its 31-year history, WWE Raw will be available to stream.
In addition to Raw, Netflix will offer WWE’s electrifying content to international audiences, including SmackDown, NXT, and major events like WrestleMania, Royal Rumble, and SummerSlam.
