At the 2025 Hollywood Christmas Parade, Vivica A. Fox, known for her fierce performances and commanding presence, took a moment to open up about her iconic role in Kill Bill and what fans can expect from a possible return to the franchise.

Her character, Vernita Green, made a lasting impact on fans of Quentin Tarantino’s revenge saga, and Vivica was excited to discuss the possibility of bringing her back. “I’m waiting for my daughter to get her revenge,” she teased, referencing a potential storyline that could follow in future films.
When we asked about her famous line from the first Kill Bill, “If you are sore about it, come and see me when you grow up,” Vivica smiled and nodded. “That line still holds weight,” she said. “I’m excited to see Kill Bill coming back, and people have been hitting me up for interviews about it. It’s amazing to see the brand relaunching after all these years.”
The conversation then turned to the physical toll that Kill Bill took on its cast. Vivica recalled the intense experience of shooting her iconic fight scene with Uma Thurman’s character, The Bride. “We filmed that fight over four days, and let me tell you, it was no joke,” she said. “I had about 30 bruises after filming, and I was so proud of every single one of them because that scene was EPIC.”
Vivica was quick to mention the six months of grueling training she went through before stepping onto set. “The fight scene didn’t just happen,” she explained. “We worked hard, trained hard. We wanted it to be as authentic as possible, and it paid off. That’s one of the reasons I’m so proud of it.”
It’s clear that Vivica A. Fox is as passionate about her work today as she was when Kill Bill was first released. As we wrapped up the interview, she reflected on her journey in Hollywood and her role as a strong, powerful woman in action films. “Revenge is a dish best served cold,” she said with a wink, leaving us with the feeling that, should Kill Bill return, the queen is more than ready to reclaim her throne.
Whether or not we’ll see Vernita Green’s story continue on screen, one thing is for sure: Vivica A. Fox remains an undeniable force, and we’re all here for whatever comes next.
