The saying ‘What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas’ may not apply when visiting The Continental Las Vegas. Especially when you decide to join forces with the infamous ‘John Wick.’ A decision to join his side could cost you your life.
The John Wick Experience is an immersive attraction located at AREA15 (home to MEOW Wolf’s Omega Mart, Illuminarium, and the highly anticipated Universal Horror attraction opening later this year). The attraction is 12,000 square-foot wide and inspired by the billion-dollar motion picture franchise ‘John Wick.’
The films, directed and produced by Chad Stahelski and written by Derek Kolstad have made significant strides as one of the most-thrilling and intense action-pack franchises. With a fifth film installment underway, fans will find this attraction as a perfect build-up to the newest film’s release.
This experience is in partnership with Lionsgate, AREA15, and Egan Escape Productions (Jason Egan, creator of SAW Escape Las Vegas, Fright Dome, and Escape Blair Witch). Director Chad Stahelski was involved in every step of making this attraction. Keanu Reeves (John Wick) was also apart of the production process.
The John Wick Experience takes guests on a highly immersive and cinematic journey, working alongside John Wick. Guests are invited for membership at the Continental Las Vegas, but a ‘single misstep triggers a contract, and now your name is on the ledger.’
The experience includes a dozen themed rooms, interactive gameplay, character interactions, and puzzles that will test your ability to think quickly on your feet.
What truly makes this attraction stand out is the seamless blend of both interactive rooms that use a high level of storytelling. As guests go through each of the rooms, they are met with many key elements that fully immerse them into the Wick universe.

Parts of the experience include a switchboard that reveals a bounty that was placed on you upon arrival at the Continental Las Vegas. You are then introduced to the Continental manager, who makes someone in your party place a ‘blood oath’ in order for your group to make it out alive.
It wouldn’t be Vegas without a little gambling and this is where you meet the quick-knitted card dealer who is no stranger to making deals you simply can’t refuse.
Other parts of the experience include a highly detailed clothing tailor shop that references costumes from the franchise and pays homage to the Vegas show-life attire. As you continue throughout your adventure, you are faced with new threats, defense training sessions, and danger at every corner.
The immense attention to detail, from the interior and exterior of the building to the cinematic rooms, is remarkable! Fans of the film will find multiple easter eggs throughout the experience that derive straight from the films.
While this experience is a new storyline crafted for the Las Vegas location, Wick’s influence and journey are still seen throughout the entire attraction.

If the adventure is a little too intense for you, the Continental Las Vegas still invites you to join in on the experience, inviting you to two themed bars that offer exclusive cocktail pairings and beverages themed to the Wick universe. The bars offer both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options, all crafted to enhance different parts of your tastebuds.
The cocktail themes are unique to the movie franchise, with drink names entitled “With a Pencil” and “Erebus,” which draw inspiration straight from the films.
This thrilling and action-packed escape-room style experience is perfect for those who are fans of the John Wick cinematic universe, but it also allows newcomers to dive into the world of Wick and his adventures.
