On Monday, May 20, Netflix hosted the premiere of “ATLAS” at the iconic Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood, CA. The event featured stars Jennifer Lopez, Simu Liu, and Sterling K. Brown, who were joined on the red carpet by director Brad Peyton and additional cast members Gregory James Cohan, Abraham Popoola, and Lana Parrilla.
Producers in attendance included Jeff Fierson from ASAP Entertainment; Joby Harold and Tory Tunnell from Safehouse Pictures; Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas and Benny Medina from Nuyorican Productions; and Greg Berlanti and Sarah Schechter from Berlanti/Schechter Films.

The film follows Atlas Shepherd (Jennifer Lopez), a brilliant yet misanthropic data analyst harboring a deep distrust of artificial intelligence, reluctantly joins a mission to capture a rogue robot connected to her mysterious past. When the mission takes an unexpected turn, Atlas realizes that her only hope of saving humanity’s future from the impending threat of AI is to overcome her fears and place her trust in it.
