Exclusive: Ravi Cabot-Conyers Talks Skeleton Crew, Star Wars Legacy, and Dream Crossovers
The galaxy far, far away expands once more with the highly anticipated new series, Skeleton Crew on Disney+. This thrilling adventure follows a group of kids who stumble upon an old starship on their home planet of Attin during the early New Republic era. After accidentally activating the ship, they find themselves lost in the galaxy, pursued by pirates, and seeking help from a mysterious stranger, Jod Na Nawood (played by Jude Law), an untrained Jedi who becomes their unlikely guide in their journey to find their way home.

Following the show’s premiere, we had the chance to sit down with Skeleton Crew actor Ravi Cabot-Conyers to dive deeper into his character, Wim, and his experience joining the Star Wars universe.
Meet Wim: A New Star Wars Hero
Ravi Cabot-Conyers portrays Wim, a resident of Attin who embarks on this intergalactic adventure with his friends. Set in the same timeline as The Mandalorian, The Book of Boba Fett, and Ahsoka, Skeleton Crew adds another rich layer to the New Republic era.
Cabot-Conyers used music to connect with his character, creating a playlist of songs that Wim would listen to, including one by Bruce Springsteen. This unique approach helped him develop Wim’s personality and bring a relatable touch to the role.
The Pressure and Honor of Joining Star Wars
Joining the Star Wars universe brought a mix of excitement and responsibility for Ravi Cabot-Conyers. Introducing a new character to such a beloved franchise is a major task, but he embraced the opportunity and aligned with the vision of showrunner Jon Watts.
