Netflix Drops Trailer for Award-Winning Arcane Season 2: Watch the Epic Preview Now
Arcane, the hit animated series from Riot Games, returns this November on Netflix. Based on the world of League of Legends, Arcane has become one of Netflix’s most successful animated series. Created by Christian Linke and Alex Yee, the show features executive producers Linke, Marc Merrill, and Brandon Beck, with animation by Fortiche Animation. The stellar voice cast includes Hailee Steinfeld as Vi, Annie Award winner Ella Purnell as Jinx, Katie Leung as Caitlyn, Reed Shannon as Ekko, Amirah Vann as Sevika, Mick Wingert as Heimerdinger, Ellen Thomas as Ambessa, and Brett Tucker as Singed, among others.

Season One of Arcane cemented Netflix’s reputation for transforming game franchises into animated cultural phenomena. It was widely acclaimed as one of the Best TV Shows of 2021 and won four Primetime Emmy Awards in 2022, including Outstanding Animated Program, making it the first streaming series to achieve this honor.

At the 2022 Annie Awards, Arcane dominated with nine wins across categories such as Best TV/Media, Best Writing, Best Voice Acting (Ella Purnell), Best Direction, and more. The series also won Best Adaptation at The Game Awards 2022, and the Arcanealbum earned a nomination for Top Soundtrack at the 2022 Billboard Music Awards.
