
Avengers: The New Kids on the Block
After the Avengers have defeated Thanos two have passed away, one aged, and three have gone their separate ways what comes next after them?? More heroes are rising especially teenagers could they carry the name as they live up to their heroes and will they all form together and face the bigger threat in the MCU it takes time for Marvel Studios to introduce more characters. Now it’s being teased that they will be assembling soon as the Young Avengers.

In the comics after the House of M storyline an alternate younger version of Nathaniel Richards aka Kang travels to Earth 616 heads to Stark Industries finds an AI of the Vision and learns of a protocol of bringing in teens with abilities and plans to bring them in together. Young Nathaniel Richards would take on the name Iron Lad and recruit Teddy Altman; Hulkling, Eli Bradley; Patriot, Billy Kaplan; Wiccan, and Kate Bishop. Later Iron Man and Captain America would investigate the Young Avengers, would not approve of their act, refuse to train them, and take away their costumes and gears. Behind their backs, the Young Avengers continue their heroic acts.

After their warning and continuing to become heroes, the Young Avengers had some of their faults Eli was using a drug that temporally gave him super strength, Teddy Altman abuses his powers to fit in with popular kids, and Billy Kaplan having trouble accepting his sexuality and almost kills his tormentor to save another kid. Later the Fantastic Four enemy Super Skrull would kidnap Teddy Altman and reveal to him that he is the son of the Kree Superhero Captain Mar-Vell and Skrull Princess Annelle. Later the Vision would bring in the Contingency plan to bring in the Young Avengers, Scott Lang’s daughter Cass joins the Young Avengers. Later all of them together help break out Tommy Sheppard from a super-powered prison to have him join the Young Avengers. It’s revealed that Tommy Sheppard is Billy Kaplan’s twin, and they are the long-lost children of both the Scarlet Witch and the Vision.

The two alien race empires the Kree and the Skrull come to earth to start a battle to claim rights to the Teddy Altman. The Young Avengers fought against both alien empires, and soon the Avengers assembled to stop the battle. Soon Patriot was injured saving Captain America, both Super Skrull and Hulking had a huge battle with each other defeating the Super Skrull. Captain America and Teddy disguising as the Super Skrull showed both Kree and the Skrull that Hulkling is in Earth’s custody which leads to stopping the battle between both alien races. Now the Young Avengers have proven themselves as heroes, Eli gets a blood transfusion from his Grandfather granting him superpowers, Captain America passes down Clint Barton’s Quiver and Bow as she takes on the name Hawkeye, Tommy gets his suit and all the kids continue as the Young Avengers.

Now in the multiversal saga, some of the kids are making their superhero debut. At the end of The Marvels, Kamala Khan is locating some of these young heroes to form a team now she recruits Kate Bishop and plans to meet with Cassie Lang soon. At the end of Agatha All Along, Billy Kaplan is searching for his brother Tommy, Riri Williams aka Iron Heart, and America Chavez may as well be part of the team. No plans yet for Eli Bradley who made his first appearance in the Falcon and the Winter Soldier, it will be sometime soon if he will have powers and take on the name; Patriot. Kid Loki is currently living in the Void and nothing yet for Iron Lad aka young Nathaniel Richards or Teddy Altman aka Hulkling will make their live-action debut soon in the MCU.

According to DanielRPK, Marvel may turn this project into a Disney plus series more than a movie and the project itself Young Avengers will be named ‘The Champions. The Rumors are going around that Marvel Studios has met with Fargo creator Noah Hawley if he were to work with Marvel Studios and write for the Young Avengers project. It’s not the first time Hawley worked on a Marvel Project as he created and wrote all three seasons of FX’s Legion. Hawley is a multitalented storyteller in television, films, and literature and an award-winning for his work for his miniseries Fargo. The Young Avengers can assemble any time soon in the MCU after the events of Doomsday and Secret Wars once Marvel announces all the upcoming projects.
