Everything You Need To Know About AVENGERS: DOOMSDAY Trailer At CinemaCon
Marvel Studios unveiled the first Avengers: Doomsday trailer at CinemaCon, one of the event’s biggest moments. The emotionally charged preview signals a major turning point for the MCU.
The presentation itself carried weight. Chris Evans and Robert Downey Jr. joined Kevin Feige and the Russo Brothers, reuniting the Endgame team. Their presence framed Doomsday as more than a new installment — a direct continuation of Marvel’s biggest success.
The trailer reflects that ambition.
It opens with the long-awaited introduction of Doctor Doom with a narration by him which quickly transitions to Thor’s voicer. In one of the trailer’s standout moments, Thor attacks with Stormbreaker, only for Doom to stop the strike effortlessly, establishing him as a threat on a completely different level.

That sense of escalation continues with the return of Steve Rogers. His return and ability to summon Mjolnir again drew a huge reaction, highlighting the film’s ties to Marvel’s past while moving the story forward.

The scope expands even further as the trailer confirms the long-teased crossover elements. The Fantastic Four are shown interacting with the new Avengers, while the X-Men make their presence known in a meaningful way. Character pairings include Shang-Chi vs Gambit and Mystique vs Yelena Belova, hinting at spectacle and complexity.
According to the Russo Brothers, the film’s central antagonist raises the stakes beyond anything seen before. They described Doctor Doom as “the most powerful villain of them all… even more powerful than Thanos himself,” a claim the footage appears designed to support.
The response inside the room reinforced the impact. The trailer received sustained applause, and the audience even called for an immediate replay — which Marvel granted.
If Endgame marked the culmination of one era, Avengers: Doomsday launches the next. It’s larger in scale, broader in scope, and unites corners of the Marvel universe fans have waited years to see.
