Lights, camera, and action, everyone, because “It Was Agatha All Along!” Kathryn Hahn is back to play Agatha Harkness and introduce more witchcraft into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Early in the morning on July 7th, 2024, Marvel Studios released a new trailer for their upcoming series, ‘Agatha All Along.’
The last time we saw Agatha was at the end of WandaVision, where Wanda takes away Agatha’s power, imprisons her as Agnes, and leaves her to continue living in Westview. Wanda promises to look after her. However, things change at the end of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness when Wanda sacrifices herself to destroy the book of the damned, the ‘Darkhold,’ in every universe.
Now, in the new trailer, Wanda’s corpse is discovered, and Agatha releases herself from Wanda’s spell. She learns to regain her powers, this time without the Darkhold, to continue with her witchcraft. Agatha starts her new journey by walking the ‘Witches’ Road,’ a 2016 Marvel storyline where Wanda travels to an alternate plane of existence, learning more about the dangers and discoveries of Chaos magic and witchcraft.
At the beginning of the new trailer, we see Agatha as a detective, along with David A. Payton reprising his role as Herb from WandaVision, who is also a detective. Fans are puzzled to see both Agatha and Herb as cops, discovering an unidentified corpse that turns out to be Wanda. It appears that everyone in Westview is trapped in another Hex, but this time it’s not Wanda imprisoning the citizens. Fans are left questioning who else is keeping everyone prisoner.

Agatha will be bringing in Aubrey Plaza, Joe Locke, Patti LuPone, Sasheer Zamata, Ali Ahn, and Debra Jo Rupp to start a new coven as they travel the ‘Witches’ Road.’
We shall be expecting many familiar faces to appear in the show as many citizens of Westview are confirmed to reprise their roles in ‘Agatha All Along. That 70’s Show star Debra Jo Rupp her character in MCU, Mrs. Hart aka Sharon Davis will be joining Agatha’s Coven. Last we saw Mrs. Davis, Wanda attempted to kill everyone on Westview while on Chokehold then learned her mistakes as she decided to let everyone go, ending her mind control on everyone and her spell on the Hex. Then at the end, after Wanda stops the Hex, everyone at Westview is seen judging and angry at Wanda for what she put everyone through, now in Agatha All Along’ Sharon Davis will be learning witchcraft and joining Agatha’s Coven.

Variety confirmed that Joe Locke will be playing Billy Kaplan aka Wanda’s Son Billy. It’s already known that Wanda’s children do not exist anymore when she stops using her magic at the end of Wandavision. Comicbook Fans who know the storyline of Billy and some fans don’t know and will be questioning “How is Joe Locke playing Wanda’s Son?’ Like Wandavison in the comic, Wanda was married to The Vision and used the same magic to give birth to both Billy and Tommy. Later the demon lord named Mephisto, absorbed both Billy and Tommy’s life energy and wiped them off from existence. Later two children from different families who look similar to Billy and Tommy Maximoff, Mephisto used Wanda’s children’s energy and transferred to Billy Kaplan and Thomas Sheppard as both are reincarnations of Billy and Tommy Maximoff then later have powers and join the Young Avengers.
Nothing can be confirmed yet if Billy Kaplan is already the reincarnation of Billy Maximoff in ‘Agatha All Along’ or if Mephisto will be reincarnating both Billy and Tommy anytime soon. Fans have been waiting for Mephisto to make an appearance for quite some time as he was referenced in the first episode of Loki when Mobius and the TVA were at the church in France where they saw a stained-glass window of Mephisto. But will Mephisto be making an appearance in ‘Agatha All Along? Soon, when Iron Heart series premiers on Disney Plus Sacha Baron Cohen will appear in Iron Heart his role remains hidden but it’s certain that Cohen will be playing Mephisto.
Fans will not only experience more witchcraft in ‘Agatha All Along,’ but they will also encounter demons and other supernatural events in the upcoming show. Marvel is gradually introducing supernatural elements into the MCU, with Wanda’s Chaos Magic, Blade, Moon Knight, Werewolf by Night, Man-Thing, and more to come. Marvel Studios seems ready to bring horror storylines to both the big screen and Disney Plus.
