If you watch shows that can relate to anyone, or you’re working at an office, hospital, or at a Target/Walmart, how about watching a group of people working at a comic book store? Today is the premiere of mockumentary comedy The Comic Shop, created and starring Cheyenne Ewulu, along with the entire cast, Shanae Cole, Zeno Robinson, and Grayson Niles.
Another mockumentary people would be watching such as The Office, Parks and Recreation, or St. Dennis Medical. The Comic Shop is what anyone should be watch to relate to working at their jobs. The Comic Shop explores young adults handling their own business, ‘Oh Em Gee Comics. Independent young adults on paying rent to their strict landlord, handling difficult customers, and working together with their quirky personalities as they try to handle their business and each other.
Creating a Kickstarter account, many people helped donate to finance Awkward Virgo TV to film one episode at a local comic book store in Los Angeles. Cheyanne Ewulu and the entire cast and crew successfully debuted their show on YouTube. Filming the total of six episodes, this is just the first season; anything can happen to get noticed and trend all over. Shows like Cobra Kai started on YouTube. As it got huge, the series continued later on Netflix, completing the entire series.
It would take an entire group of people to believe in each other, just like the characters on the show. Anything that involves a workspace with the characters that are utterly quirky that people can relate to and be inspired to help keep the business going and succeed.
