The highly anticipated sequel to 2016’s Academy Award®-winning took the spotlight on rookie cop Judy Hopps voiced by Ginnifer Goodwin and Nick Wilde voiced by Jason Bateman once again get tangled up in their most thrilling mystery yet. As fans of the first film know, this duo has a knack for tackling challenges that go far beyond their official duties. This time, they’re not alone a mysterious new character, Gary De’Snake, a pit viper voiced by Ke Huy Quan, slithers into Zootopia and turns the bustling animal metropolis upside down. His arrival kicks off a twisting investigation that pulls Judy and Nick into unfamiliar corners of the city, forcing them to go undercover in unexpected ways and pushing their partnership to the limit.

Director and Disney Animation Chief Creative Officer Jared Bush, who also wrote the script, assures us that the sequel will boldly expand the world of Zootopia in new directions. Co-director Byron Howard adds that the teaser trailer even includes an original song, “ZUTU,” created by Zootopia’s own lemming techno group, LEMEEENS. This upbeat track, with its heavy beats, captures the film’s energy and gives us a glimpse of the fun that awaits us.
