
Vince Vaughn and Bill Lawrence’s Comedy ‘Bad Monkey’ Is Coming This August!
Apple TV+ has announced the premiere date and provided a sneak peek at “Bad Monkey,” the eagerly awaited comedy series from acclaimed executive producer Bill Lawrence (“Ted Lasso,” “Shrinking”), starring the renowned actor, producer, and screenwriter Vince Vaughn, who also serves as an executive producer. Based on Carl Hiaasen’s beloved novel and enduring cult classic, the 10-episode show will make its global debut on Apple TV+ with the first two episodes premiering on August 14, 2024, followed by weekly releases every Wednesday until October 9.

This collaboration between Lawrence and Warner Bros. Television marks another milestone for Apple TV+, following the success of the Emmy-nominated series “Shrinking” and the global phenomenon “Ted Lasso.” Co-created by Lawrence, “Ted Lasso” made history as the most Emmy-nominated freshman comedy series and clinched back-to-back Emmy Awards for best comedy series in its first and second seasons.

“Bad Monkey” is produced by Warner Bros. Television and developed by executive producer and showrunner Lawrence, who helms the project through his Doozer Productions alongside Jeff Ingold, Matt Tarses (“Scrubs”), Marcos Siega, Vince Vaughn, and Liza Katzer.
