🎄 “Grinchmas” Brings Whoville to Life
Universal Plaza, the beating heart of the theme park, transforms into the whimsical world of Whoville as “Grinchmas” returns with vibrant decorations, interactive activities, and nightly festivities. At the center of it all stands a spectacular 65-foot topsy-turvy Grinchmas tree, adorned with thousands of LED lights and colorful ornaments. Each evening, the tree lights up in a dazzling ceremony complete with falling snow and a performance by a Who-ville singing quartet, spreading that infectious Who-liday spirit.
Families can meet the Grinch and Max, and enjoy storytime with Cindy-Lou Who reading How the Grinch Stole Christmas. They can also send a postcard of good deeds from the Who-ville post office. Kids can also create their own “Grinchmas” ornaments, ensuring hearts grow three sizes by day’s end. Exclusive themed treats and merchandise make perfect souvenirs of the celebration.
🧙 “Christmas in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter” Casts a Festive Spell
The cobblestone streets of Hogsmeade sparkle with twinkling lights, festive garlands, and snow-dusted rooftops. “Christmas in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter” immerses guests in the spirit of the season, with the Hogwarts Frog Choir performing holiday favorites a cappella style.
As night falls, the iconic Hogwarts Castle is transformed by “The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle.” This breathtaking light projection show features a soaring score from the Harry Potter film series. With each flicker and flourish, the castle becomes a canvas of enchantment, captivating witches, wizards, and Muggles alike.
Guests can sip on hot, cold, or frozen Butterbeer™ while exploring Hogsmeade. They can also shop for magical gifts and limited-time holiday keepsakes exclusive to the village.
🍄 SUPER NINTENDO WORLD Gets a Holiday Power-Up
SUPER NINTENDO WORLD levels up the cheer with festive touches throughout the land. Guests are welcomed by two snowmen in Mario and Luigi colors beside a sparkling Super Star–topped tree.
Seasonal merchandise will be available at the 1-UP Factory™, and visitors using a Power-Up Band™ can collect special holiday-themed digital stamps. From December 1 through February 28, guests can unlock the “Winter Wonder” stamp. Visitors in December can also earn an exclusive “Holiday Party” stamp. These wearable bands sync with the park’s free app and enhance gameplay within the land’s interactive attractions.
