“Toy Story 5” Trailer: Times May Change, But Friends Are Forever
Times may change, but friends are forever. Disney and Pixar have officially released the brand-new trailer and poster for Toy Story 5, giving fans their first look at the next chapter in the beloved franchise.
Set to hit theaters exclusively on June 19, 2026, the highly anticipated animated adventure reunites Buzz Lightyear, Woody, Jessie, and the rest of the gang — but this time, they’re facing their most modern challenge yet.
Meet Lilypad: The New Threat to Playtime
In Toy Story 5, the toys come face-to-face with Lilypad (voiced by Greta Lee), a brand-new tablet device with her own ideas about what’s best for Bonnie. As technology competes for attention, the toys must band together to protect the magic of playtime.
The trailer also teases the emotional reunion of Woody (voiced by Tom Hanks) and Buzz Lightyear (voiced by Tim Allen) following Woody’s departure at the end of Toy Story 4. With today’s tech devices entering the picture, it’s all hands on deck for both new and returning characters.
Star-Studded Voice Cast Expands
Joining the franchise are several new voices, including:
- Craig Robinson as Atlas, a cheerful GPS hippo toy
- Shelby Rabara as Snappy
- Scarlett Spears as Bonnie
- Mykal-Michelle Harris as Blaze
- Matty Matheson as Dr. Nutcase
Returning favorites include Joan Cusack (Jessie), Conan O’Brien (Smarty Pants), Tony Hale (Forky), and franchise staples like John Ratzenberger, Wallace Shawn, Annie Potts, Bonnie Hunt, Kristen Schaal, Ernie Hudson, and Keanu Reeves.
