What a weekend Marvel Fans, Marvel Studios’ Deadpool, and Wolverine are out in theatres and the Hall H Panel was a massive event at San Diego Comic-Con. Huge reveals for the upcoming movies for phases five and six such as Captain America: Brave New World, Thunderbolts, Fantastic Four, and the next Avengers Films.

There is no need to worry about Spoilers for Deadpool and Wolverine but what the future holds for Phases five and six for Marvel Studios will excite for what fans will be anticipating in the next few years.
In Captain America: Brave New World, the main cast made their appearance at Hall H. Giancarlo Esposito reveals that his role in the movie he will play Sidewinder, ‘King of the Serpent Society.” In the comics Sidewinder was a former economics professor named Seth Voekler, after being mutated into his snake humanoid form, he formed his own criminal organization known as the Serpent Society. Nothing shows yet if Giancarlo’s MCU counterpart will have powers and change into his mutated form or just a leader in an organization with skilled weapons expert.

A clip was shown at Hall H, in the footage which shows President Ross confirming “Ladies and Gentlemen, I present to you: Adamantium.” Fans know in the comics that Adamantium is the same alloy surgically grafted onto Wolverine’s Skeletal System. From Marvel Studios’ Eternals; the deceased Celestial Tiamut, will introduce Adamantium in MCU’s Earth 616 but nothing is confirmed yet if Wolverine and the X-Men will make their debut in Earth 616.
In the new Clip, Harrison Ford’s President Thaddeus Ross turns into the Red Hulk while giving a speech in front of the White House. During the Event, Harrison Ford walks onto Hall H stage to meet up with the main cast and perform in front of the audience to share his Red Hulk Transformation. After the stage event, Ford spoke with Variety about wearing the motion capture suit “It took not caring, it took being an idiot for money which I’ve done before… but it was fun!”
Marvel’s Thunderbolts cast and director Jake Schreier arrived on stage along with the rest of the main cast to discuss each of their characters in the upcoming picture. Missing on stage David Harbour makes an exciting entrance wearing his character’s costume The Red Guardian exciting the fans all around was jokingly disappointed and ranting at the entire cast did not dress up as their characters on stage. After Harbour’s thunderous entry, the first teaser trailer of Thunderbolts was shared for the fans to raise anticipation for the upcoming movie next year in May 2025.
Now, the director of Marvel’s First Family the Fantastic Four, Matt Shakman approaches on stage with Kevin Feige to share footage of the Fantastic Four. The entire team living their normal lives before being exposed to cosmic radiation, preparing for their mission, existing in an alternate universe in a space-age utopia in New York City in the 1960s, and a quick tease of Galactus was seen towards the end of the footage. Now the movie is retitled to Marvel Studios’ ‘Fantastic Four: The First Step.’ After the main cast Pedro, Vanessa, Ebon, and Joseph walked on stage to discuss the upcoming picture and they will start filming on July 30th 2024 in London. Then making another entrance Marvel Studios showed the Fantastic Car flying around at Hall H panel to hype for the fans for the Marvel’s first family’s transportation that will be seen next year when the movie debuts in theatres.
Now the last announcement for Marvel Studios before Hall H ends both the Russo Brothers Anthony and Joe are to return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe and direct the next two upcoming movies; Avengers: Doomsday releasing in 2026 and Avengers: Secret Wars releasing in 2027. Originally the plans for the next Avengers movie were set for ‘Avengers: The Kang Dynasty’ It would look like the plans for Kang Dynasty have been pivoted to DoomsDay since Jonathan Majors started playing the Conqueror in 2021 and then later fired due to the allegations against Majors in 2023. It’s been confirmed that the Fantastic Four will appear again in Avengers: Doomsday and Secret Wars.
That’s not all for the Avengers project during the panel a group of followers walked up on stage wearing green hooded capes and Doctor Doom masks. While the Russo brothers and Feige excite the fans on who will be playing the Fantastic Four big bad in the Marvel Cinematic Universe it’s none other than Robert Downey Jr. walking up in taking off his mask. Genius, Billionaire, Playboy, and Philanthropist Tony Star will be returning to the MCU. How will Robert Downey Jr. be playing Doctor Doom in Doomsday since the character’s comic counterpart is known to be Victor Von Doom and both characters are enemies? In the comics, there was an alternate universe where Tony Stark goes by Iron Maniac resembling Doctor Doom, and the main enemy of the Fantastic Four in that comic book storyline. Nothing can confirm yet if MCU’s Doctor Doom is Tony Stark or a variant of Stark as Victor Von Doom existing in Pedro Pascal’s Fantastic Four universe but will Robert Downey Jr. make a cameo appearance in the Fantastic Four next year or wait in Avengers Doomsday in 2026 when he makes his return? Hopefully, answers will be announced to explain the return of Tony Stark as the new big bad in both Doomsday and Secret Wars.
