
The Juice Is Loose “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice”
The return of Beetlejuice is here! Tim Burton, an Oscar-nominated visionary, and Michael Keaton, also an Oscar nominee, reunite for “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice,” the highly anticipated sequel to Burton’s acclaimed Beetlejuice.
Keaton reprises his iconic role alongside Winona Ryder, an Oscar nominee known for her roles in “Stranger Things” and “Little Women,” as Lydia Deetz, and Catherine O’Hara, a two-time Emmy winner recognized for her work in “Schitt$ Creek” and “Corpse Bride,” as Delia Deetz. Joining the cast are new members Justin Theroux, Monica Bellucci, Arthur Conti making his feature film debut, Jenna Ortega, an Emmy nominee, and Oscar nominee Willem Dafoe.

The story unfolds after an unexpected family tragedy, leading three generations of the Deetz family back to Winter River. Lydia’s life takes a tumultuous turn when her rebellious teenage daughter, Astrid, stumbles upon a mysterious town model in the attic, inadvertently opening a portal to the Afterlife. With chaos brewing in both realms, it’s only a matter of time until someone utters Beetlejuice’s name thrice, summoning the mischievous demon and unleashing his unique mayhem.
Directed by Burton, a genre-defining force in filmmaking, from a screenplay by Alfred Gough & Miles Millar, with a story by Gough & Millar and Seth Grahame-Smith, the film boasts a stellar lineup of producers and executive producers.
Behind the scenes, Burton’s creative team includes talents such as director of photography Haris Zambarloukos, production designer Mark Scruton, editor Jay Prychidny, costume designer Colleen Atwood, creature effects and special makeup FX creative supervisor Neal Scanlan, composer Danny Elfman, and hair and makeup designer Christine Blundell.
“Beetlejuice Beetlejuice” is presented by Warner Bros. Pictures and is set for an exclusive theatrical release, including IMAX, nationwide on September 6, 2024, with international screenings starting from September 4, 2024.
