If you are looking for a hot horror to watch this summer Sony pictures’ Tarot is about to take your fears to the next level. This summer, a young group of friends let their curoirty get the better of them when they come across a deck of Tarot cards, but little do they know it is not wise to touch someone else’s deck. Their decision leads to a demonic entity stalking the group and hunting whoever violated the rules of the cards. Now, the trapped demon that was once locked in the cards from a curse, is now taking them down one by one.

Directed by Spenser Cohen & Anna Halberg, “Tarot” features an ensemble cast including Harriet Slater, Adain Bradley, Avantika, Wolfgang Novogratz, Humberly González, Larsen Thompson, and Jacob Batalon. Produced by Leslie Morgenstein, Elysa Koplovitz Dutton, and Scott Glassgold, the film is a collaborative effort by Cohen and Halberg, who also serve as its writers.
“There’s something inherently scary about tarot cards and tarot readings,” shared Anna on why they wanted to bring the film to life. “We love astrology and horoscopes because it’s a way to learn about yourself, but it’s also a way to bring clarity and to learn about the future. On the other hand, if you know what the future is going to hold, good or bad, it will influence the decisions that you make,” Halberg added. “And just because you could know what the future brings, I don’t know that it’s a good idea that you should.”
