Last night Sonic ran his way through skyscrapers worldwide! Paramount Pictures revealed images of Sonic The Hedgehog and other characters on one of the most iconic buildings in New York, Chrysler. The highly anticipated Sonic the Hedgehog 3 is officially announced for release in theatres on December 20, 2024, with the trailer officially dropping tomorrow. Fans of the speedy blue hedgehog can look forward to another exciting adventure as Sonic returns to the big screen. Our blue alien friend is set for a new chapter after teaming up with his sidekick Tails to take down Dr. Robotnik in his last adventure. Together, the two extraordinary creatures continue to watch over Green Hills.

Paramount Pictures has partnered with Sega Sammy Group to bring this latest installment to life. The film collaborates with several esteemed production companies, including Original Film, Marza Animation Planet, and Blur Studio.
The production team is led by Neal H. Moritz, p.g.a., Toby Ascher, p.g.a., Toru Nakahara, and Hitoshi Okuno, the film’s producers. The executive production team boasts big names like Haruki Satomi, Shuji Utsumi, Yukio Sugino, Jeff Fowler, Tommy Gormley, and Tim Miller.

The story, crafted by Pat Casey and Josh Miller, is based on the beloved SEGA video game that has captured the hearts of fans for decades. The screenplay is a collaborative effort by Pat Casey, Josh Miller, and John Whittington.
Returning to the director’s chair is Jeff Fowler, who directed the previous Sonic films, ensuring that the franchise maintains its signature style and energy keeping original characters the fans love.
