Prime Video Unveils Trailer and Key Art for New Series Beyond Black Beauty, Premiering October 15
Prime Video has just released the trailer and key art for Beyond Black Beauty, a new series inspired by the timeless novel Black Beauty. All eleven episodes of the series are set to debut on October 15, available exclusively to Prime Video subscribers in the US and UK. This adds to the range of entertainment, savings, and convenience offered to Prime members worldwide.

Beyond Black Beauty tells the story of Jolie Dumont, a young equestrian whose dreams of competing in the Olympics are disrupted when her mother relocates their family from Belgium to their ancestral urban ranch in Baltimore. Initially resentful and eager to leave, Jolie finds herself drawn to a spirited horse named Black Beauty. Through their bond, she learns to embrace her cultural roots, the importance of family, and to renew her commitment to her athletic aspirations.
The cast includes Kaya Coleman (Dangerous Game: The Legacy Murders) in the role of Jolie Dumont, alongside Gina James (Transplant), Sagine Sémajuste (Grand Army), Lisa Berry (Supernatural), and Gilles Marini (Sex and the City).
The series is executive produced by Pilar Golden, Carla de Jong, Blair Powers, J.J. Johnson, Leif Bristow, Agnes Bristow, Hubert Toint, and Christin Simms, with Pilar Golden also serving as the creator, executive producer, and showrunner. Beyond Black Beauty is a collaborative production between Sinking Ship Entertainment, Leif Films, Saga Film, and Amazon MGM Studios.
