Prime Video Brings Back ‘Cross’ for a High-Stakes Season Two This February
During its New York Comic Con panel, Prime Video dropped a gripping new teaser and confirmed the global premiere date for Season Two of its hit crime thriller, Cross. The acclaimed series—based on the iconic characters from James Patterson’s best-selling Alex Cross novels—will return worldwide on February 11, 2026, with the first three episodes debuting on day one, followed by new episodes weekly through the season finale on March 18.
Starring and executive produced by Aldis Hodge, Cross follows the titular Alex Cross, a brilliant homicide detective and forensic psychologist whose ability to see into the minds of killers makes him one of the most formidable investigators in Washington, D.C. Created by Ben Watkins, who also serves as showrunner and executive producer, the series combines psychological depth with pulse-pounding suspense.
In Season Two, Cross faces one of his most dangerous challenges yet—a ruthless vigilante targeting corrupt billionaire magnates. The new season promises an even darker and more emotional exploration of justice, vengeance, and morality.

Behind the scenes, Watkins and Hodge are joined by executive producers Sam Ernst, Jim Dunn, J. David Shanks, Aiyana White, Craig Siebels, Owen Shiflett, James Patterson, Bill Robinson, and Patrick Santa. Amazon MGM Studios and Paramount Television Studios produce the series.
With its psychological intensity, star-studded cast, and Patterson’s signature storytelling roots, Cross continues to captivate audiences. It’s one of Prime Video’s most addictive crime thrillers.
