Pixar Animation Studios and Disney+ shared the first episode of the critically acclaimed new series “Win or Lose” is officially now on YouTube. The premiere episode, Coach’s Kid, introduces Laurie (voiced by Rosie Foss), a 12-year-old with a heart full of determination, even if she isn’t the strongest player on her softball team. Beneath her cheerful spirit, she battles waves of self-doubt so powerful they take shape as a Sweaty shapeshifting, sentient creature that clings to her like an invisible burden only she can see.

As the championship game looms, Sweaty grows heavier, a literal weight on Laurie’s shoulders, feeding her fears of failure. More than anything, she longs to prove herself not just to her teammates, but to her dad, who also happens to be her coach (voiced by Will Forte). If she can push past the pressure, maybe just maybe she’ll finally get that hit she’s been dreaming of.
