SLEEP centers on newlyweds Hyun-su (Lee Sun-kyun, PARASITE) and Soo-jin (Jung Yu-mi), whose peaceful life is shaken when Hyun-su starts talking in his sleep, eerily saying, “Someone’s inside.” From that moment, Hyun-su becomes someone else every time he falls asleep, with no memory of his actions. Soo-jin, surrounded by fear that he might harm himself or their growing family, finds herself unable to sleep, consumed by anxiety.

Despite seeking treatment, Hyun-su’s sleepwalking worsens, and Soo-jin begins to fear for the safety of their unborn child. Directed by Jason Yu, who previously worked alongside Bong Joon-ho and Lee Chang-dong, this gripping thriller had its world premiere at Cannes’ Critics’ Week.
