
“Monarch: Legacy of Monsters,” Greenlit for Second Season & Additional Spin-Offs On The Way

The other shows will reportedly be spin-offs based on the franchise.

The series follows two siblings tracing their family’s ties to the enigmatic organization Monarch after the revelation of real-life monsters. Set in the 1950s and later, the storyline intertwines with Army officer Lee Shaw’s narrative, played by Kurt Russell and Wyatt Russell. Through three generations, the saga unveils hidden truths and explores the enduring impact of monumental events on our lives.
The upcoming season of “Monarch: Legacy of Monsters” will be executive produced by showrunners and co-creators Chris Black and Matt Fraction, along with Joby Harold, Tory Tunnell from Safehouse Pictures, Matt Shakman, Andrew Colville, and Jen Roskind. Toho Co., Ltd., the owner of the Godzilla character, will also be involved in the production, with Hiro Matsuoka and Takemasa Arita serving as executive producers.
