Marvel Television and Marvel Animation took over the Empire Stage at New York Comic Con for an electrifying showcase of the upcoming Disney+ lineup. Hosted by Phase Zero’s Brandon Davis, alongside Brad Winderbaum, Head of Marvel Television and Marvel Animation, the panel featured exclusive first looks, trailers, and surprise appearances from stars across the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

🕷️ Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Season 2
The event kicked off with a sneak peek at Season 2 of Marvel Animation’s Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, swinging onto Disney+ in Fall 2026. Winderbaum teased that the new season will dive deeper into Spidey-lore, thrilling the audience with footage that hinted at a sentient black goo—one that fans immediately recognized as a nod to Venom.
🧬 X-Men ‘97 Season 2
Winderbaum then welcomed Eric and Julia Lewald, the original creators of X-Men: The Animated Series, along with original series director Larry Houston, who are joining X-Men ‘97 Season 2 as Executive Producers. The creative team discussed what’s next for the beloved mutants before debuting exclusive footage from the upcoming season, set to premiere on Disney+ Summer 2026.
👊 Daredevil: Born Again
No New York panel would be complete without the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen. Daredevil: Born Again star Charlie Cox hit the stage to discuss where Season 2 will find Matt Murdock, followed by a surprise appearance from Krysten Ritter, officially confirming her return as Jessica Jones.
The two reflected on reuniting in the MCU and teased what fans can expect when Season 2 premieres on Disney+ in March 2026—and Cox confirmed that Season 3 is already in development.

🎬 Wonder Man
Actors Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and Sir Ben Kingsley joined Winderbaum to debut the first official trailer for Wonder Man, directed by Destin Daniel Cretton. The series takes audiences behind the scenes of a superhero movie remake, following Simon Williams, a Hollywood actor navigating fame and heroism.
The duo spoke about the joy of filming in Los Angeles and bringing meta-humor into the MCU. The 8-episode series premieres January 27, 2026, at 6:00 PM PT exclusively on Disney+.

💫 VisionQuest
As the final surprise of the night, Winderbaum returned to the stage to talk about VisionQuest, the emotional conclusion to the trilogy that began with WandaVision and continued with Agatha All Along.
He was joined by Paul Bettany, who revealed that he’s reuniting with James Spader’s Ultron for the first time since Avengers: Age of Ultron. Fans were treated to an exclusive first look at the series, set to premiere on Disney+ in 2026.2
