The moment we’ve all been eagerly awaiting has finally arrived: Warner Bros. and DC Comics have just released the official teaser trailer for “Joker: Folie à Deux,” and the infamous Joker has found a partner in crime. This musical sequel serves as a continuation of Todd Phillips’ acclaimed 2019 film “Joker,” with Lady Gaga stepping into the role of the infamous Harley Quinn alongside Joaquin Phoenix’s Joker.
Fans gathered at CinemaCon in Las Vegas for the highly anticipated unveiling of the trailer, witnessing Gaga’s debut in her new role alongside Phoenix.

In the teaser, Gaga and Phoenix’s characters cross paths at a psychiatric institution, where their tumultuous romantic relationship begins to unfold. Gaga’s Harley asks, “Do you want to escape from here?” leading to a surreal musical sequence where the two dance together. Phoenix’s Joker provides narration, stating, “I’ll tell you what’s changed. I’m not alone anymore. That’s what we should be talking about!”
The on screen chemistry between Gaga and Phoenix can’t be denied and they are deeply in love, which could lead to a whole lot of destruction, I guess we need to wait and see this fall.
The teaser concludes with a captivating shot of a glass with a Joker smile drawn on it, mirroring Phoenix’s smirk, offering us a glimpse into the clever scenes and visuals awaiting us in the film.
The new film maintains an R rating due to its content, described by the MPA as containing “strong violence, language throughout, some sexuality, and brief full nudity.”
