During the press coverage for Shadow Force, I had the chance to sit down withJahleel Kamara, one of the film’s rising young talents. From the moment our interview began, it was clear that this project meant more to him than just a role it was an unforgettable experience.
Jahleel Kamara shared how he originally auditioned for the role when he was just five years old. Years later, landing the part as a main cast member was a full circle moment, and one he described as a dream come true. Despite his young age, Jaleel held his own alongside a cast of A-listers, soaking up knowledge and forming real connections with his co-stars.
One of the most touching stories he told was about celebrating his mother’s birthday on set. The cast came together to mark the occasion, turning the filming day into a warm and festive memory. It wasn’t just about the cameras and call times it was about building relationships and making moments that would last long after the credits roll. Jaleel lit up when talking about working with the likes of Kerry Washington and Omar Sy. He described them as generous, supportive, and fun, adding that being part of Shadow Force felt more like joining a big family than just shooting a movie.
