The story follows siblings Stevie and Elliot as they tumble into the bizarre world of their own dreams. To earn their ultimate wish a perfect family they must survive a sarcastic stuffed giraffe, a mob of zombie breakfast foods, and the terrifying queen of nightmares, all under the watchful eye of the Sandman.
Woo explained how the idea was inspired by the movies that shaped his childhood fantastical classics like Labyrinth and E.T. films that carry strong emotional cores wrapped in adventure and magic. “The more personal the dream,” he said, “the more it connects to real life.” That philosophy drives every scene of In Your Dreams, blending surreal humor with emotional honesty in a way that feels both nostalgic and refreshingly new.

The film’s world comes alive through stunning animation from Kuku Studios and Sony Pictures Imageworks, with an unforgettable score by legendary composer John Debney.
