It’s finally back. A new chapter in the beloved “Goosebumps” anthology series is on the horizon. Titled “Goosebumps: The Vanishing,” the highly anticipated season is slated to debut on January 10, 2025, with all eight episodes available for streaming on Disney+ and Hulu.

In a fitting tribute to R.L. Stine’s birthday, Sony Pictures Television announced the premiere date and unveiled new key art for the series. The fresh season stars a talented cast, including Emmy® Award nominee Friends star David Schwimmer as Anthony Brewer, a former botany professor entangled in mysteries and science.
“Goosebumps,” published by Scholastic, remains one of the best-selling book series of all time, and this season draws inspiration from fan-favorite tales such as “Stay Out of the Basement,” “The Haunted Car,” “Monster Blood,” and “Welcome to Camp Nightmare.”

The ensemble cast features Ana Ortiz as Jen, Jayden Bartels as Cece, Sam McCarthy as Devin, Elijah M. Cooper as CJ, Galilea La Salvia as Frankie, Francesca Noel as Alex, and Stony Blyden as Trey.
The creative team behind “Goosebumps: The Vanishing” includes Nicholas Stoller and Rob Letterman, alongside showrunner Hilary Winston, all serving as executive producers. They are joined by notable figures such as Neal H. Moritz, Iole Lucchese, Caitlin Friedman, Pavun Shetty, Conor Welch, Erin O’Malley, Karl Frankenfield, and James Eagan.
Season 2 debuts 14 months after Goosebumps left fans on edge with its thrilling Season 1 finale. The first chapter, starring Justin Long (New Girl) and Rachael Harris (Lucifer), took inspiration from some of R.L. Stine’s most iconic tales, including “Say Cheese and Die,” “The Haunted Mask,” “The Cuckoo Clock of Doom,” “Go Eat Worms,” and “Night of the Living Dummy.”
With its spine-tingling stories and captivating performances, “Goosebumps: The Vanishing” promises to deliver a thrilling experience for both new viewers and longtime fans alike.
