The celebratory special spotlights two of the most influential figures in film and television. Airing Thursday, January 8, 2026 at 8:00 PM ET/PT on CBS and streaming on Paramount+ in the U.S., the event sets the stage for the 83rd Annual Golden Globes® with an evening of tributes, surprises, and heartfelt moments.
This inaugural Golden Eve honors Dame Helen Mirren, recipient of the 2026 Cecil B. DeMille Award, and Sarah Jessica Parker, recipient of the 2026 Carol Burnett Award—recognitions reserved for artists whose careers have left an indelible mark on the entertainment landscape. The special features acceptance speeches from both honorees, reflecting on decades of boundary-breaking performances and cultural impact.
Highlights include a special tribute by Matthew Broderick celebrating Sarah Jessica Parker, and Harrison Ford presenting to Helen Mirren, underscoring the respect and admiration shared among Hollywood’s most revered talents. Special appearances by Carol Burnett, Colman Domingo, Kristin Davis, Ted Danson, Tessa Thompson, and Viola Davis elevate the evening.
