A Year-Long Celebration Kicks Off in May 2025
Mark your calendars, because the Disneyland Resort 70th Anniversary Celebration officially kicks off on May 16, 2025, and will run through the summer of 2026. It’s going to be 70 years of unforgettable moments, with all-new entertainment, jaw-dropping décor, delicious food, limited-edition merchandise, and so much more. Returning Favorites & New Adventures
Let’s talk about the highlights, shall we? First up, the Paint the Night Parade is back and brighter than ever with over a million LED lights lighting up Disneyland Park. But wait, there’s more! Get ready for the brand-new “World of Color Happiness!” at Disney California Adventure Park, where Walt Disney’s iconic words—“To all who come to this happy place… welcome!”—will come to life in a dazzling nighttime spectacular.
But the fun doesn’t stop there. The fan-favorite “Wondrous Journeys” will light up Disneyland Park with fireworks on select nights, while Pixar fans will get to groove to the return of “Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration!” in Disney California Adventure Park. And don’t forget the new character cavalcade at Disneyland Park, plus special projections on the iconic Carthay Circle Restaurant and it’s a small world.

To make this anniversary even sweeter, Disneyland will debut a brand-new theme song, “Celebrate Happy”, that will play throughout the resort, setting the perfect soundtrack for your celebration. Mickey, Minnie, and their pals will also be looking extra festive, dressed in exclusive anniversary outfits for photos in Town Square at Disneyland.

Of course, Disneyland’s 70th anniversary isn’t just about the parades and fireworks (though those are pretty awesome). In 2025, you’ll also find all-new and reimagined experiences, like the Pixar Place Hotel, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, and exciting updates to New Orleans Square.
