Fork n’ Film Takes Your Tastebuds on a Cinematic Experience
AREA15 is now home to one of the most immersive and delicious dining experiences in town

Immersive experiences are becoming the new trend across the nation, from floating bars to unique and quirky speakeasies and immersive dining experiences set to transport you into a whole new world.
With media-based and sensory dining becoming the new trend, having an immersive dining opportunity in Las Vegas is the perfect opportunity to increase tourism and foot traffic into the city.
Now, Las Vegas has its very own dining experience located at AREA15 that recreates dishes inspired by classic films. Fork n’ Film is a one-of-a-kind dining experience that serves you dishes at the same time as they appear on screen.
The experience is located on the second floor of AREA15 next to the attraction “Wink World. Each film has a set pre-fixed multi-course menu and cocktail pairings that are themed to the film, but guests do not know what dishes will be served ahead of the dining experience.
With the use of creative food presentations, while also providing visually and sonically presentable food displays. When attending this experience, guests are instantly immersed in the cinematic universe of the film they are viewing.
Fork n’ Film was created by Nick Houston and Francesca Duncan. The company collaborates with a team of chefs, venues, and partners to create these multi-sensory experiences.
The showing, I had the opportunity to attend was for the screening of ‘Ratatouille.’ A Disney Pixar classic film that is known for its french-themed cuisine and immaculate atmosphere as it follows one rat’s journey to become a chef.
Upon arrival, guests are escorted to their seats and given a glass of champagne, water, and popcorn. For this specific dining experience, they served eight courses, which were a variety of salads, charcuterie boards, cocktails, and delicious desserts.

The courses were served in real-time to guests ahead of the corresponding scene in which the meal would appear on screen.
A few of the standouts from the dining experience include the ‘Salad Composé’ served with mixed lettuce, sliced apples, cider vinaigrettes, and presented in a miniature trash can during the first act of the film.
The ‘Ahh It’s A Rat’ cocktail, served with Vodka, apple pucker, Blue Curacao, and a sour candy rim. When placed on the table, the presentation includes dry ice, and the drink is placed in a potion bottle with a fake rat trap on the side of the plate.

Fork n’ Film does a phenomenal job of accommodating any dietary needs ahead of your visit, so guests can request certain food accommodations to be made in advance. All meals can be modified for vegans, vegetarians, and guests can also request mocktails.
The amount of detail-oriented and creative thought that was placed into each dish was beyond mind-blowing. As a foodie and film enthusiast, having the chance to taste dishes inspired by one of my favorite animated films was a highlight.

Each dish was packed with flavor and served to perfection. While this is a course-style meal, there were a few dishes I wish could’ve had larger portions of. Attendees will walk away with their taste buds satisfied.
This cinematic and flavorful style experience is perfect for those who are movie-enthusiasts who would love to elevate their movie and dinner outings. This is the perfect summer and seasonal activity to go to if you have a romantic partner or want to experience this with a friend or loved one.
When planning your next Vegas trip, you must visit AREA15 and dine with Fork n’ Film where movies are brought to life!
