Final Destination: Bloodlines Brings Back Tony Todd as Death Revisits Its Origins
4o
Oh man, we finally got the trailer for Final Destination: Bloodlines, and I gotta say—it’s bringing back all the chills from the original movies. But this time, there’s a twist. Instead of just another fresh batch of unlucky souls, we’re going wayback—to where it all started.
From what the trailer shows, we’re going back decades, uncovering the origins of Death’s design. There’s even a book detailing all the traps and deaths from previous movies, and yes—Tony Todd is back! If you’ve followed this franchise, you know that every movie reveals a deeper connection. First, we saw students dying on a plane to France, then we found out those deaths were connected to a bridge collapse, and so on. But why did those people die in the first place? And what about the ones before them?

That’s exactly what Bloodlines is here to explore. Directed by Adam Stein and Zach Lipovsky, this one looks like a perfect mix of Final Destination lore and bone-chilling set pieces where Death comes for an entire family. And let’s be real—just the idea of someone who should have died, but didn’t, only for Death to come knocking on their entire bloodline decades later? That’s terrifying.
The cast brings in Kaitlyn Santa Juana, Teo Briones, Richard Harmon, Owen Patrick Joyner, Anna Lore, and Brec Bassinger.. And of course, we’re getting the legendary Tony Todd in one of his final performances. Kinda poetic, right? Death is back an it has been waiting yeas for this revenge.
Written by Guy Busick and Lori Evans Taylor, from a story by Jon Watts, Busick, and Evans Taylor, Final Destination: Bloodlines hits theaters on May 16. Time to prepare for another round of paranoia.
