This year’s parade was led by Grand Marshal Jeremy Renner, the multi-talented actor, musician, and philanthropist whose remarkable resilience has inspired millions. Renner, known for his roles in The Avengers franchise and his Disney+ projects, joined Dean Cain and Laura McKenzie on the TCL Industries Holdings Co., Ltd. Stage, where they kept the crowd engaged with lively commentary alongside Montel Williams and Elizabeth Stanton.
The parade was a true Hollywood affair, bringing together 110 celebrities and VIPs from across the entertainment world. Of course, the grand finale came with the arrival of Santa Claus, who made his magical entrance, accompanied by his reindeer. With a wave to the crowd, Santa officially ushered in the holiday season, making the event a memorable celebration for all ages.
A Heartfelt Tribute
This year’s parade was especially poignant, as it was dedicated to two remarkable figures in the entertainment world. William “Bill” Frederick Lomas, known affectionately as “The Parade King”, was remembered for his incredible 42-year tenure as the parade’s producer. The event was also a tribute to the late Louis Gossett Jr., the Academy Award-winning actor who served as Grand Marshal in 1994 and remained a cherished part of the parade in the years that followed.
Giving Back to the Community
In the spirit of the season, the parade supported the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation, encouraging attendees to bring an unwrapped toy for donation. Collection boxes were set up at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, located along the parade route, allowing fans to contribute to children in need this holiday season.
Jeremy Renner Reflects on His Journey
When we caught up with Jeremy Renner, who recently endured a life-changing, near-fatal experience, we couldn’t help but ask him about his future. With his signature humility, he shared, “I’m taking it one step at a time.” Renner expressed his excitement about returning to some of his most iconic roles, including a potential return to Disney+ projects. He emphasized the importance of staying grounded both in his work and his personal life. It is clear that Renner’s resilience, humility, and outlook on life made him the perfect choice to serve as Grand Marshal for this year’s event.

Denise Richards Weighs in on the Future of James Bond
In a fun moment, we had the chance to chat with Denise Richards, the former Bond girl from one of Pierce Brosnan’s 007 films. Naturally, we had to ask her thoughts on the next James Bond. “James Bond is timeless,” she said, emphasizing that it’s not just about the actor but about capturing the essence of the character. Richards expressed admiration for several actors rumored to take on the role, including Henry Cavill, Idris Elba, and Richard Madden, all of whom she feels would do justice to the iconic spy.
A Dose of Nostalgia: John Schneider and the Dukes of Hazzard
The parade also sparked some nostalgia. We caught up with John Schneider, who played Bo Duke on the beloved TV series The Dukes of Hazzard. Schneider shared what made the show so enduring, pointing to its heartwarming themes of family and love. “The core foundation was always about family,” he said, reflecting on the series’ lasting impact.
Could a Superman Reunion Be in the Works?
Speaking of iconic TV shows, we couldn’t resist asking Dean Cain, famous for his portrayal of Superman on Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman, if there was any chance for a reunion with Teri Hatcher. “It’s something we’ve talked about,” Cain said, clearly nostalgic for the chemistry they shared on-screen. Fans, of course, can only hope for one more adventure with this dynamic duo.
