She is back on our screens! The highly anticipated Apple original, “Land of Women,” stars the one and only Eva Longoria, who plays Gala, a wealthy New Yorker whose life is upended when her husband fails to repay a debt to dangerous criminals. With her husband vanished and criminals on their trail, Gala flees the city with her aging mother, Julia (Carmen Maura), and teenage daughter, Kate (Victoria Bazúa), to her mother’s hometown in northern Spain—a place Julia left 50 years ago. They hope to keep their identities hidden as they start anew, but the town’s gossip quickly unravels their deepest family secrets.

Based on Sandra Barneda’s bestselling novel “La Tierra de las Mujeres, the show is created by Ramón Campos, Gema R. Neira, and Paula Fernández, and directed by Iris Award winner Carlos Sedes. The series is produced by Bambu Producciones and executive produced by showrunner Campos, Neira, Sedes, Iris Award winner Teresa Fernández-Valdés, Ben Spector, Sandra Condito, and Eva Longoria through her production company UnbeliEVAble Entertainment.
