The wait is over. Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures have officially announced Dune: Part Three, the explosive final chapter in Denis Villeneuve’s acclaimed sci-fi trilogy, arriving in theaters and IMAX® this December.
Set nearly 20 years after Paul Atreides seized control of the Imperium, the film finds Paul ruling as Emperor—but at a devastating cost. As rebellion spreads across the galaxy, old allies return, dangerous enemies emerge, and a powerful conspiracy begins to unfold with Chani at its center. Forced to confront the consequences of his reign, Paul must decide the future of the empire and everyone he loves.
Timothée Chalamet returns as Paul alongside Zendaya, Jason Momoa, Florence Pugh, Rebecca Ferguson, Javier Bardem, Charlotte Rampling, Isaach de Bankolé, Anya Taylor-Joy, and Robert Pattinson in an all-star cast.
Denis Villeneuve directs from a screenplay co-written with Brian K. Vaughan, based on Frank Herbert’s iconic novels. The film also reunites the Oscar-winning creative team behind the franchise, including composer Hans Zimmer.
Following the massive success of Dune and Dune: Part Two, the trilogy’s finale is already shaping up to be one of the biggest movie events of 2026.
Dune: Part Three opens internationally on December 16, 2026, before premiering in North American theaters and IMAX® on December 18, 2026.
