Disclosure Day: When the Truth Belongs to Everyone
If you found out we weren’t alone—if someone showed you, proved it—would that frighten you? This summer, that question takes center stage as the truth belongs to seven billion people. We are coming close to Disclosure Day.
Universal Pictures presents a bold new original event film created and directed by Steven Spielberg, the most influential filmmaker of our time. Disclosure Day is a gripping thriller that explores humanity’s reckoning with an undeniable revelation. The film stars SAG Award winner and Oscar® nominee Emily Blunt, Emmy and Golden Globe winner Josh O’Connor, Oscar® winner Colin Firth, Eve Hewson, and two-time Oscar® nominee Colman Domingo—an extraordinary ensemble brought together for a story that feels both intimate and world-shifting.

Based on a story by Spielberg and written by longtime collaborator David Koepp—whose work with Spielberg includes Jurassic Park, War of the Worlds, and Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull—the film continues a creative partnership that has generated more than $3 billion worldwide. Produced by Kristie Macosko Krieger and Spielberg for Amblin Entertainment, Disclosure Day promises the suspense, spectacle, and emotional depth audiences expect from a Spielberg event.
