Netflix and HYBE have announced a historic global comeback celebration featuring a live performance. It will also include an exclusive documentary marking BTS’ long-awaited return as seven. After completing their military service, RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook are reuniting on the world stage. This is a moment ARMYs across the globe have been counting down to.
BTS THE COMEBACK LIVE | ARIRANG will stream live exclusively on Netflix on March 21, 2026, at 8 PM KST (4 AM PST / 7 AM EST). Broadcasting from the legendary Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul, the live event celebrates the release of BTS’ fifth studio album, ARIRANG, and marks their first global live performance together since returning.
This isn’t just a concert — it’s history. The event will become Netflix’s first-ever global livestream broadcast from Korea, bringing BTS’ homecoming to millions of fans around the world in real time.
And the celebration doesn’t stop there.
On March 27, 2026, Netflix will premiere BTS: THE RETURN, a feature-length documentary directed by acclaimed filmmaker Bao Nguyen. The film offers an intimate, emotional look at BTS’ reunion as they come back together in Los Angeles to create new music after time apart. Through laughter, reflection, uncertainty, and joy, the documentary captures seven artists rediscovering their shared creative spark while preparing for the comeback of a lifetime.
The documentary leads directly into what promises to be a defining era. BTS’ new album ARIRANG, releasing March 20, 2026, is described as a deeply reflective project exploring identity, roots, and growth. Following the album release, BTS will launch the ARIRANG World Tour (2026–2027). The tour will span 34 regions and 82 shows worldwide.
