Brandon Sklenar & Meghann Fahy Talk DROP, Batman & Christopher Landon on Disturbia 2 & Happy Death Day 3
Ahead of the highly anticipated release of Drop, the latest Blumhouse and Universal Pictures thriller, we sat down with director Christopher Landon — known for films like Paranormal Activity, Happy Death Day, and Freaky — along with stars Brandon Sklenar and Meghann Fahy, to discuss their powerful new project.
Table Of Content
The film centers around a harrowing story of domestic violence, and the trio opened up about the importance of bringing such a sensitive topic to life. They spoke about the cinematic techniques used to amplify the feeling of isolation — even in public spaces — and how they navigated the emotional weight of the story while filming.

Brandon also shared his personal experience, sharing that he has someone close to him who has experienced domestic violence. He opened up about how that experience informed his approach to the role and how he was able to help that person navigate such a difficult situation in real life — making his performance in Drop all the more authentic and meaningful.
We also asked the pair, who by the way have the best chemistry, what they would personally do in a similar high-stakes situation. Their answers? Well, you’ll have to watch the interview to find out.
Of course, we couldn’t sit down with Brandon without addressing the internet buzz around him potentially stepping into the role of Batman. While we didn’t press him on the casting rumors, we did ask what draws him to the character of Batman — and who his favorite portrayal of the Dark Knight is. Trust us, you’ll want to hear his answer.

A White Lotus Return?
Meghann Fahy, a fan-favorite from The White Lotus Season 2, also shared her thoughts on a potential return to the hit HBO series. While she wasn’t part of the most recent season, her response to a possible comeback left us hopeful.
The Disturbia Sequel That Never Saw Light and Happy Death Day 3
And since we had Christopher Landon in the hot seat — the director behind so many iconic films — we couldn’t resist asking if there would ever be a sequel to Disturbia. Landon revealed an exciting concept he once pitched for Disturbia 2 that, unfortunately, never came to fruition. But now that the idea is out there… who knows? Maybe there’s still hope for fans to see it one day.
Landon also teased Happy Death Day 3, sharing that if it happens, the film will be completely different from its predecessors — exploring brand new realms when it comes to time loops and pushing the story in a bold, unexpected direction.
Drop hits theaters tomorrow — be sure to check out our full interview for all the details and don’t forget to subscribe for more exclusive content.
