He went on to explain why he’s always careful with certain subject matter, joking that there are two things creatives are warned to avoid at all costs.
“They tell you to stay away from religion and stay away from politics, because no matter what you think, somebody passionately disagrees with you,” he said.
“That’s how Kanye ended up where he’s at.”
The line drew laughs, but the point landed. 50 Cent made it clear he wasn’t trying to spark controversy — just tell a story honestly.
“I stay away from those things,” he added. “It feels crazy, but it’s very accurate.”
From there, he shifted the spotlight to the team behind Moses the Black, making sure to give credit where it was due.

“I want to thank Simeon Faith. I want to thank Nicholas — Nicholas Marcopolis — and our producers, Alex… Alex Potter… and B. Hayes.”
Then came the cast shoutouts, delivered with his signature energy.

“You’re gonna see amazing performances,” he said.
“I got Wiz Khalifa. We got Deontay Wilder. We got a big hybrid in the house tonight.”
According to 50, the film isn’t made for one type of audience — it’s for everyone.
“This one’s for everybody,” he said. “They gonna love this.”
He closed by reminding fans that Moses the Black is getting a wide theatrical release and encouraging people to experience it the way it was meant to be seen.
“We’re in 1,800 theaters. January 30th. Just get a chance to check it out. Really enjoy this project, man. I really appreciate you.”
With humor, honesty, and a surprisingly thoughtful take on storytelling, 50 Cent made one thing clear: Moses the Blackisn’t here to preach — it’s here to be felt.
